Once the operating system is loaded, the startup sound is played. Once these initial checks have been completed, the operating system begins loading the various programs and services that make the computer useful. These checks may include checking memory, CPU usage, hard drive activity, etc. When a computer boots up, it first goes through a series of checks before any programs start executing. The startup sound or bootup sound occurs when a computer starts up. Well, the startup sound was removed to speed up the process as it was considered important. This move by Microsoft was questioned by many who loved the startup sound and if you are one of them and want the startup sound to be enabled, you can do so with ease. Well, unfortunately, Windows 10 does not come with an innate startup sound effect. The OS also has good aesthetics that include better sound effects to suit the situation, Windows OS comes with default sound effects for events like startup and shutdown and most users get used to it but when Windows suddenly tries to remove the startup sound after an OS upgrade, some feel the difference and some do not. It is very versatile and offers one of the best feature sets to the users and more than half the computer-using population actually use Windows OS to run computers Microsoft does great things to maintain the integrity of the OS and provides users with the necessary features. Windows OS is one of the most used and enjoyed OS in the tech industry.
